Leading non-profit international relief and development organization, Catholic Relief Services (CRS), has chosen global Business Process Management (BPM) and Case Management software vendor Singularity as the supplier of its new BPM solution.
Singularity's BPM Suite, TotalAgility, will enable CRS to carry out a business transformation program and improve its efficiency in undertaking relief work. CRS is a leading provider of relief aid and has assisted hundreds of thousands of people in need of disaster relief. Through its use of Singularity's TotalAgility solution, CRS also becomes a leader in the use of technology to transform its administration and so improve its capacity to deliver disaster relief.
CRS chose Singularity against stiff competition from other suppliers because the charity regards it as the provider that best understands its needs and culture. The TotalAgility product is extremely well suited to CRS's need for an enhanced reporting system, which explains to major funders how their money is spent and what impacts it has had. The TotalAgility product has established itself as a market leading BPM suite.
Carol Bothwell, Chief Learning Officer with CRS, says: "I know from my professional experience in the information technology sector just how important it is to have the right I.T. platform to drive your operations. With Singularity's TotalAgility BPM solution we are convinced that we will be able to achieve substantial efficiencies, increase our capacity to raise funds and make service improvements. That will mean more people in desperate need will receive our support, more lives can be saved and more people will be assisted to have better and longer lives."
CRS will use Singularity's BPM Suite to create its Project Information Management Solution (PIMS) to improve its co-ordination of people and resources at all stages of relief efforts. This will include identifying needs and interventions; outlining projects and objectives; seeking funds and other resources to make effective interventions; drawing-up contracts; managing projects; and reporting on project outcomes to funders.

A key factor in the contract award was Singularity's proven capacity to provide BPM solutions that can be fully integrated with other software systems, including Microsoft's SharePoint, Exchange, SQL Server, and Office, all used by CRS.
Singularity is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and it supports the creation of agile organizations that continually improve efficiency, productivity and responsiveness. Its TotalAgility product is built on Microsoft technology and integrates out-of-the-box with all the Microsoft products adding the capability to graphically design and adapt Case Management processes.
