The TotalAgility product has an integrated design environment, which delivers four core pieces of Business Process Management (BPM) functionality: Process Design, Process Execution, Process Monitoring and Process Optimisation simply through only two user interfaces: the TotalAgility Builder and the TotalAgility Workspace. All functionality is accessible seamlessly across these two environments providing one central tool for managing your business processes and forms. This streamlines tasks thus empowering more effective participation across the process lifecycle.
Process Design and Analysis is performed in the Builder environment of the TotalAgility product. The TotalAgility Builder is an easy to use visual environment for modelling, design, analysis and testing processes. Construction of process flows is performed graphically using a 'drag-and-drop' approach which has been designed to support faster model-to-deployment time and deliver to 'Zero Code' systems.
Unlike competing systems the builder provides broad support for modelling knowledge-intensive processes, enabling case management features such as case definitions, dynamic process attachment and virtual case folders. Once process modelling is complete the Builder enables customers to deploy and execute processes without additional coding or integration. The model is the process.
The TotalAgility Workspace is focused on the end user and the live process environment. Processes designed in the Builder are executed in the Workspace. Process Monitoring and Process Optimization are all delivered via the TotalAgility Workspace.

Within the TotalAgility Workspace process execution ensures delivery of the right work to the right person at the right time. The TotalAgility Workspace guides process execution toward completion, orchestrating the combination of system and human activities. Reflecting the dynamic environment in which organizations operate, TotalAgility can react at runtime to changes in throughput, capacity, workload and utilization to modify its scheduling and routing of workload and process tasks.
The Process Monitoring functionality of the TotalAgility Workspace is focused on supporting human decision making. The Workspace facilitates easy reporting and visualization of a process or case model and enables the user, manager or business analyst to measure the performance of a system, check for errors and produce meaningful metrics on which to take decisions.
Process Optimization functionality within the TotalAgility Workspace enables end users to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. In-flight improvement and self-optimization of business processes are available via the Workspace. It provides the ability to execute a process differently, or even execute a different process, depending on circumstances, such as during periods of increased demand.
